Time: 6 to 9 p.m.
Location: North Collier Regional Park, 15000 Livingston Road, Naples
Admission: $5 per person; children age 3 and under are free

Collier County Parks & Recreation describes BOO-Tacular as an all-ages Halloween evening with a Haunted Trail, Trick-or-Treat Lane, food, a DJ, bounce houses, carnival games, caricature artists and a photo booth. Costume contests begin at 6:45 p.m. in age-group and group categories.

The county says online preregistration closes Friday at 3 p.m. Wristbands may also be purchased and picked up at several Collier County park locations, subject to availability. Review the official Collier County Halloween event notice before going.

Saturday and Sunday: Dia de los Muertos at Naples Botanical Garden

Dates: Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day
Location: Naples Botanical Garden, 4820 Bayshore Drive, Naples
Admission: Included with regular Garden admission; members are free

The Garden's two-day Dia de los Muertos celebration includes community altars, family activities, music, dancers, arts and crafts, and large Catrina figures by artist Ricardo Soltero. Saturday and Sunday have different performance lineups, so the day you choose may shape the experience.

When checked October 30, the Garden listed regular admission at $27 for adults, $12 for children ages 4 to 17, free for children age 3 and under, and free for members. Optional La Catrina flower-crown workshops cost extra and require registration. The Garden also notes that its Dogs in the Garden program is paused on Sunday, November 1 because of the event.

See the official Naples Botanical Garden event page for the complete schedule and tickets.

Saturday afternoon: Paradise Coast Fall Fest

Time: 1 to 4 p.m.
Location: Paradise Coast Sports Complex, 3940 City Gate Boulevard South, Naples
Admission: Free

The sixth annual Fall Fest is a family-focused Halloween afternoon with trunk-or-treating, bounce houses, a foam party, costume parade, face painting and RC cars. This option starts earlier than the downtown Naples events, which may help families build a full afternoon schedule.

Confirm final details on the official Paradise Coast Sports Complex event calendar.

Saturday in downtown Naples: Halloween Spooktacular and Evening on Fifth

Spooktacular: 3 to 5 p.m. at Cambier Park
Evening on Fifth: 5 to 8 p.m. along Fifth Avenue South
Admission: No admission charge is listed by the organizer

The Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District lists family Halloween activities in Cambier Park, including live music, games and a costume contest. The celebration then shifts to Fifth Avenue South, where live musicians perform along the sidewalks during a special Evening on Fifth.

Because the two programs run consecutively, visitors can begin in the park and continue into the downtown dining and shopping district. Parking and traffic may be busier than usual, so allow time to walk from your parking space.

Check the official Fifth Avenue South Halloween schedule before heading downtown.

Saturday night on Marco Island: Marco's Biggest Halloween Party

Starts: 7 p.m.
Location: Sand Bar, 826 East Elkcam Circle, Marco Island

The official Sand Bar event calendar lists Marco's Biggest Halloween Party beginning at 7 p.m. The Marco Island tourism listing adds live music by Stereo Riot from 7 to 10 p.m., a costume contest at 9:30 p.m. and DJ Jorge from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. This is the weekend's late-night option rather than a children's daytime activity.

Confirm current cover, age, reservation and schedule details directly with the venue through the official Sand Bar events page.

Sunday, November 1: Naples Concert Band season opener

Start time: 2 p.m.
Location: Cambier Park, 755 Eighth Avenue South, Naples
Admission: Free; donations are welcomed

The Naples Concert Band opens its 55th anniversary season with "Italian Masterpieces and American Pride." The program features Italian favorites, music by Puccini, American selections and guest vocalist Jeanie Darnell.
